The prayer/bible study group continues to meet on Wednesday evenings at 8pm. Please come along and join in a quiet time of reflection and prayer.

Summer Assistant
Mark Proctor will be covering ministerial duties whilst Rev Todd is on holidays in July and assisting throughout the summer.

Church Picnic
A Church picnic at Lady Dickson Park is planned for Sunday 14th June. Bring your picnic and come along and enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Cars will leave the Church after morning worship.

Nearly new shop - Friday 26th June
Is held on the last Friday of each month in the Oliver Brown Hall between 10am and 12noon.
This is a good time to clear out your wardrobe and help support this new project. Clothes must be clean and in good condition and packed in boxes for easy storage.
Please speak to Shirley Graham for more information.

Volunteers are needed to take Children's Church during July and August. If you would like the opportunity to be part of a team one Sunday during the summer, please put your name on the Rota at the rear of the Church.

The Rambling Club have a programme of walks arranged. Please speak to George Stewart if you would like to participate.

PW Outing
The ladies of the PW enjoyed a wonderful day out last Saturday. A visit to the Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra evoked memories of 'days gone by'. A look through the old town houses with the open fires, griddles, washboards, Belfast sinks and outside toilets made us thankful for our modern appliances!
After morning coffee in the tearooms, it was off to Bloomfield Shopping Centre for a bit of retail therapy and then to Donaghadee Garden Centre.
After a drive along the Ards Peninsula the day was finished off with a meal in the Bay restaurant in the beautiful setting at Mount Stewart National Trust property.

Afternoon Club Outing
On Wednesday the 'afternoon club' enjoyed a day out in Newcastle. Following lunch in the Avoca Hotel the group enjoyed a stroll along the promenade in the lovely sunshine.

Church Property
The maintenance and repair of the Church property is undertaken by a group of volunteers within the Church. This very necessary work goes on week after week by a small number of people.
As the Church buildings are now almost 50 years old, more and more repair work is necessary and we will have to undertake some substantial refurbishment works over the coming years to meet government requirements for disabled access and Health & Safety.
If you have a particular skill or are willing to help with general laboring work on a regular or one-off basis the committee would be delighted to hear from you. Please speak to Rev James Todd or any member of committee.
Fundraising activities are ongoing throughout the year and you are asked to support these to help raise as much money as possible for the upkeep of the Church property.
